Coming Up Roses
The use of roses in skin care has dated back for centuries. I know that I used to view roses simply as a fragrant, gorgeous flower. Once I understood skin care and aromatherapy, though, I realized how truly beneficial roses can actually be to our skin.
You'll find rosewater, rose hips & pure rose oil used in skin care. Each of them have benefits.
For example, Rosehip Oil is chock full of nutirents for the skin, such as Vitamin A, B3, C, D, and E. These are potent antioxidants and anti-aging vitamins.
What is so fabulous about this oil is that is also contains oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids. These essential fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and can help to treat conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and eczema.
