Au Naturale Eye Essentials Kit

Happy Friday!

I am super happy to say that I am 100% done with the living room re-do and everything in the dining room is done, with the exception of my table. Over the weekend, I will paint it. The only problem is that I have not decided which color--Cottage White, Granny Smith Apple or a stunning lavender I still have on hand.

On MONDAY, I will have both rooms ready to show you. We'll also see whether I was able to stick to my original goal. I think I went over by $30 or 40, truth be told. We'll have to see.

I am really happy with the rooms, especially the living room. It is amazing how colorful and happy a room with COTTAGE WHITE walls can be. I ended up changing my plans a couple times to make this room really reflective of who I am, but with the use of cheerful yellows, greens, fuchsias, robin's egg blue, etc., I was able to make a room that says fun and cheerful. There are even some polka dots...and an orange chair. I went against my original plans of a pale and muted Shabby Chic the end, I have retro meets flea market chic, fun, H A P P Y place.

I've used lots of vintage tablecloths to fashion pillow covers, aprons to adorn tables, and paint. Lots of paint.

Stop back Monday for my final reveal.

It's almost time for me to pick up Mr. Benjamin from school and head out on our weekly lunch date. Before I go, I have to share my favorite new makeup purchase. It was $4 from Everyday Minerals. EM makes my most favorite mineral eye colors. Each palette comes with 4 great shades--3 shadows and 1 liner. Here's my new favorite:

This one is called the My Beauty Essentials collection. I {heart} these fun little palettes!
