Vaska Laundry Detergent Review
I don't like doing laundry. At all. It's just one of those things I cannot get excited about doing, but it's something I do quite a great deal of in this house.
I'm very conscientious about what I use for laundry. I've used many natural products over the years, from Seventh Generation to Ecos. I have a favorite, though, and I just have to tell you about it. It's been on constant rotation in this house since I first tried it back in 2011 when I received it for review.
I've been using a wonderfully gentle Vaska Scent Free Laundry Detergent. Free of animal-derived ingredients, this is a gentle formula and it rivals any standard, toxin-filled laundry detergent in terms of its ability to clean the clothes. What I like about this particular formula is that it free of chlorine, NPEs, artificial colorants, EPA pollutants, etc. These are important to me.
This formula is biodegradable, not tested on animals and is formulated naturally. You will not find any harmful ingredients in this-- you will find gentle surfactants to get your clothes clean and natural lavender oil.
This detergent also has been helpful at reducing static in my laundry. I appreciate that a great deal. This product works well in both standard and high efficiency models and is 2X concentarted so you only need a small capful for it to work.
I also have been using the Spot Off. This is a stain removing spray that works well and it safe for the whole family. I have used this on grass stained jeans, a shirt stained with marinara sauce, and pillowcase with a dirty dog foot print on it. All stains were removed with ease using this gentle spray. This one has a very light and natural lavender scent which comes from pure and natural lavender extract.
