A Collection of Frozen Charlotte Finds
When I placed an order last month from My So Called Junky Life, Sarah was kind enough to include one of her Frozen Charlotte pillows as a gift with purchase. You can see it in the post below this one from earlier today.
I have seen quite a few Frozen Charlotte items online and in antique shops, and I have been curious to learn more about them. These porcelain dolls were very popular in the 1800s and were apparently named after an American legend.
They are cropping up in mixed media pieces and jewelry, and I am really gaining a fondness for them. Here are some of my favorites:
I think Chic & Green may be purchasing this one...it is just a beautiful cuff bracelet. Lorelie Kay Designs on Etsy has so many Frozen Charlotte pieces.
Altered candy box from Nordeen's Studio & Supplies,
Steampunk style Frozen Charlotte from Lemoncholy's Studio,
Mixed media assemblage from The Vintage Dragonfly, $45
Sarah at My So Called Junky Life offers her Frozen Charlottes in pillow form for $5 each.
Sadie Lou Who, owner of Lollishops.com, has created this gorgeous Frozen Charlotte-inspired keepsake box.
You can find this beautiful piece at Allie's Adornments, $48
Wish Upon a Star mixed media ornament also from Lorelie Kay Designs
